Kingwood Stud is located at a high altitude on 160 acres of prime chalk downland which creates a natural and tranquil environment for the young stock to develop into strong healthy individuals. The stud overlooks the picturesque racing village of Lambourn in Berkshire which is sixty miles west of London. Our excellent facilities include 25 well-sheltered post and rail paddocks of various sizes, 62 stables with rubber flooring, two indoor and one outdoor school. We also have two covered horsewalkers, a treadmill, weighing machine and an all-weather track.
We pride ourselves on paying meticulous attention to detail and our aim is to produce good sound racehorses from our band of 25 broodmares.

These tasks are accomplished by using the wide-ranging knowledge and skills of our highly qualified staff and the excellent veterinary services available in the Lambourn area. These include the Valley Equine Hospital and O’Gorman Slater & Main who are two of England’s leading equine hospitals, together with our world renowned farrier, Gary Pickford.
